In today’s rapidly changing society, the doll industry, so heavily dependent upon labor-intensive manufacturing, has been marginalized. Also, due to the increased mechanized automatic production, humans have less and less standing ground. 
However, it is not possible for a machine to make dolls so elaborately. In this society where machines are regarded as more important than human hands, TUKATA seeks to spread warmth through our dolls that crucially need human hand work. 




TUKATA® is a handmade lifestyle brand that takes on a new perspective in looking at common, daily objects, and from those perspectives, finds and delivers more value to customers. TUKATA does not simply sell handmade products, but seek to provide more valuable and good quality handiworks and services. As TUKATA expand collection of valuable experiences and novel perspectives directed towards the long lifestyle, TUKATA makes a more happy and comfortable tomorrow.



The brand identity of TUKATA is not stimulated and aiming for design never get bored without regard to trend through long-lifestyle. In general, TUKATA is sincerely desire to deliver handmade brand characteristics by using own handwriting typeface and also trying to express an authentic attitude by using monotone color. TUKATA offers genuine and intuitive information based on checkbox and handwriting and uses only eco-material as a paper, soft cotton fabric, tyvec, soft yarn for delivering cozy, thoughtful brand-image.




There are various components of TUKATA doll such as a woven label, paper tag for packaging, product instruction, envelope and tape before delivering to customers. According to the concept of a vegetable doll, TUKATA intends to show own distinguished identity and makes the customers feel to purchase real vegetable in a grocery by using a packaging net and paper bag.




This is the manual given to all those who purchase a TUKATA doll. 
The manual contains basic information about the product and how to wash it. Steps for exchange or return are also on this manual along with eight cute ways to draw out 200% of the doll’s usage value.



The TUKATA recipe book is a mini A6 illustration book that can fit in one hand.
The Shroom version comes with how to choose the best mushroom, the benefits of the mushroom, and four easy-peasy recipes that anyone can manage. 




The packaging for the TUKATA seeds are handmade from the ecofriendly Tyvek fabric. The plant-able seeds have a germination rate of 80% and they come with a small manual. 




TUKATA is designed to deliver the handmade concept in the digital environment.
TUKATA improves user’s intuition by exclusion of graphic element as possible as and expresses intimate 'Look and Feel' by using fabric and handwriting font.
