THE OTHER SIDE OF SEOUL
“Few months ago I had the opportunity to spend one month in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. We all know Seoul as a vibrant city, modern, with its high skyscrapers, with business men always on the run and its strong economy, but it’s a little bit different, Seoul has a double face, it’s rich in the south part and poor in the north where you can see run down and old buildings and people in the streets begging for food. In the city you can see lonely people as lost souls, reduced as robots because of the high level of stress caused by the excessive and asphyxiating amount of working hours. In my Polaroids I wanted to capture the less “touristic” part of the Korean capital.”
