Commissioned by Independent Ink Magazine (No.3) for Fall 2011 magazine cover work. Given full creative license to express the theme for "Day Of The Dead" I combined digital photography, original pen & ink illustrations & Photoshop. The original photo was shot before the magazine project and was entitled "Life And Death". The original photo shoot contained full nudity and the model (covered in stage blood) was not wearing the theater mask but only holding the large yellow flower, standing in the forest in winter, to illustrate the polarity of the seasons and death and rebirth.
