Adobe Illustrator Monster

In order to create this monster, first I placed several different rounded rectangles and ellipses together. After that I used the Selection Tool and Direct Selection tool to get them to the exact shape/size I wanted them to be. I used different size strokes or no stroke at all for some objects and changed all of their colors. For certain objects I would have to arrange them to the back of the page and others I would have to send to the front to make it look how I wanted. One of the tools that I used most frequently was the transform reflect option. I used this when I wanted to mirror a specific object or group of objects to create a flip-flopped image of it. Finally, I used the Drop Shadow effect to make it look more 3-D.
