Heisterbach Abbey used to be a Cistercian monastery in the Siebengebirge in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. During the securalisation at the beginning of  the 19th century the monastery and its church were sold, demolished and its stones used in other construction projects. Today, only the apse remains.
