Title of Age in Ancient China
I redesigned the Chinese characters in this poster series, combining the titles of age in ancient China with corresponding numbers. Using the texture of woodcut picture and the combination of fonts to show the plasticity and inclusiveness of Chinese characters. Trying to convey the Chinese knowledge and stories by the traditional Chinese wordings.

度 for baby under 1 year old 牙牙 for 1-year-old baby
髫年 for 7-year-old girl 碧玉 for 16-year-old girl
花信 for 24-year-old girl
半老徐娘 for 30-year-old woman 不惑 for people of 40-year-old
耳顺 for people of 60-year-old 杖朝 for people of 80-year-old
期颐 for people of 100-year-old
