I chose this picture for my assignment because piglet is one of my favorite cartoon characters because he is a cute little pig and pigs are my favorite animals.I used adobe photoshop to help me with this picture.I used different tools to complete this picture such as different sized paint brushes, the magic wand and the eye dropper tool.The background colour was inspired to look like the sky to make it look like piglet was outside.

For this painting I used adobe photoshop. I choose this drawing because i wanted to be able to contour her face. I had to shade he cheekbone to give her face a little bit of dimension. I also had to highlight her face where the light was hitting it. I used the stroke effect, the eye dropper, the gradient tool and different brushes with a different opacity. Contouring her face was hard because blending all of the colours together.
3.COLLAGE
For my collage I used adobe photoshop. The tools I used were the lasso tool and different types of blending options. I choose these picture because they're things that I like and that I think represent me best because I love food. I found that having to choose pictures to represent me was hard because i don't really know what represents me.
4.FLYER
I chose this idea for my flyer because I love food. The blue cupcakes are because I love the colour blue. I used indesign to help me with this project the tools I used were the rectangle frame tool and the text tool. It was a little challenging to come up with ideas to write on my flyer.
5.MAGAZINE
I chose this topic for my magazine because I really like track and field. The first picture is team Canada and I chose that because I live in Canada. The second picture is Usain Bolt because he is really fast and has multiple gold medals and holds multiple world records. I used indesign for this project along with the rectangle frame tool and using a compound path.
6.FINAL PROJECT
Nice recipe design
I chose this recipe layout because it was really simple. I think that simple designs are really nice without having to much going on. I also really like that the picture fills the whole page with the words on top. The banner underneath the title is really nice and adds more colour to the page.
Ugly recipe design
I don't like this recipe page because it looks to much like something a kid would do. The colour choices are not the best either. I also don't like how the picture is in the corner and that it's so small. The columns that they used don't look very nice it sections of certain things and makes it look like there are two recipes.
My recipe
For this project I used indesign and the tools I used were the text tool, the rectangle tool and the rectangle frame tool. I chose to make my recipe about ice cream cake because it is the best type of cake. Ice cream cake is also a type of cake not many people attempt to make and I also want to learn how to make it so that's why I chose this for my recipe. I also used a lot of the colour blue because it's my favorite colour and because the cake has some blue sprinkles.
T-SHIRT DESIGN
This is my design for my hoodie, I chose this design because it's simple but looks good. The design is my zodiac sign which is a libra and on the back is the dates it starts and finishes on.
SWEATER DESIGN MOCK-UP
For my sweater design I chose black and white because their colours that I tend to wear often. I also chose those two colours because their very simple and look nice together. The symbol on the front is the zodiac sign for a libra because that's my zodiac sign. On the back I did the day it starts until the day it ends so that people know the days. I'm also going to put my name on the arm just because I thought it looked nice. I found that choosing what kind of design I wanted was difficult because I liked a lot of different designs but couldn't chose between them.
