To create a publication (or visual deliverable) that combines text and image in a meaningful way.

This was a personal project that I worked on for a school module - the brief was to combine images and text into a cohesive form, either in an editorial publication or otherwise. For this zine, I shot a series of street photos between the times 11 PM to 5 AM in the morning, and gave them to a few friends and asked them to write whatever came to mind (without knowing anything about the context of the photos).

The result was an interesting mix of analysis and imagined narratives that surpassed my experience as a photographer: through this project, I chose to shoot under interesting circumstances, and the handwritten notes were a way of exploring how the snapshot could be further interpreted and explored.

I have always found the night street scene to be filled with intrigue, and it was an interesting experiment to attempt to capture that in this zine.
