Salt + Gold is a luxury subscription box that supplies and promotes high-quality products from Africa. The brand identity and packaging taps into the premium subscription market, whilst still reflecting the vibrancy and life of Africa. The use of multiple colours simulates the colours and expression used within Kente clothing. 

I used the idea of a compass as the inspiration behind the brand marque. A compass is an instrument that is used to determine direction, whether it be north, west, east or south. In thinking about this and the mission statement of the company to search all across Africa to discover those hidden treasures; I thought there was great synergy between the two and the marque reflects that.
