Doncia, located in Mexico, is a new high-end boutique dental studio focused on using modern cutting-edge tools and the latest in dental techniques to offer the best in care for their clients. Alongside the normal range of care, Doncia offers a wide variety of treatments from laser teeth whiting, maxillofacial surgery, natal orthodontics etc... and have a hand-picked staff of the most qualified and highly trained specialist from all over the country working towards a better smile for all their patients.
To create an authentic brand it's critical to find the key points that truly differentiate it and make the brand stand out. Thus while creating the brand and identity for Doncia, we decided on creating a clean modern image, blending hard geometry with light vibrant colors to create a modern logomark in the form of a tooth which also encompasses the mission of the brand — Modern Dental Care.
Naming the brand Doncia was a simple choice as doncia** is the Greek word for tooth and many of the specialties in dentistry end with the suffix eg. orthodontia, endodontia, periodontia. This combined with our logomark of a tooth allows for a harmonious flow as one describes the other. We kept the logotype in Greek as an homage to the language and the added level of sophistication that it adds to the logo.
