It’s was an incredible feeling knowing that the digital set we were working on would become real physical spaces.  

To bring this project to life we laid out the architecture with millimeter precision. Every object, from the chairs on the carpets to the green apples inside the kitchen bowls, was meticulously art directed from the material to the color. We experimented with different lighting moods to create one that would bring a sense of beauty to this glass filled, open floor interior.

The final project was setup as an installation at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas.

Case Study
HOW WE MADE IT 

With the final project finishing in 360° 6K resolution, we wanted there to be an abundant source of detail and information wherever people looked. We created a very large single set from ground up with each object modeled, and textured for a close up render.

The environment was filled with over 340 high resolution Nissan vehicles, and a vegetation ecosystem. Inside the facility we placed photo scanned CG characters in order to react organically with our lighting. We optimized their faces and clothing folds to achieve photorealism.

During the release of the project, VR stations were setup with custom branded Nissan headsets. We also built an interactive gaze driven app for iOS and Android devices that paired up with the over 2,000 distributed headsets during the installation event.
