Introduction:

This project was about how we can use our photoshop skills to spread awareness of human trafficking, human slavery, etc. Our task was to create a poster about those topics. My partner and I wanted to make it look professional and simple.

Sketches:

Ideation:

As you can see above, we had a lot of sketches and we didn't know what we wanted to do at the beginning. At the beginning we wanted to put a hand off to the side and have the words around it (as seen in the first sketch). We didn't end up doing that one because we thought that there was going to be too much negative space. Then we decided to do something with a silhouette. We wanted to put a bunch of words around the silhouette, but we didn't think it would look clean and professional. Finally we can up with our final and that was to have a box with an acronym with the word stop. As we worked on it we decided to put in a website link and the Nation Human Trafficking Resource Center phone number.

Pitch:

We think that our project is really good. We feel so strongly of our because it looks simple and it looks professional. We both agree that the highlighted "STOP" makes the project way better. We feel like we used the principles of design really well. We used hierarchy and order the best. The way we hierarchy was the words in the face. We used order because of the sense of unity throughout our project and everything is in line.
