Pressing Flowers

For my next project, I'm going to try pressing some flowers from my garden and using them to create vectors and textures. I used to press flowers all the time when I was younger, and I've been wanting to do it for a while, so this is the perfect opportunity to try it out again!
Here are the flowers I picked:
(holy moly i should be a photographer)
When I picked them, they had a bit of dew on them, so I used a hairdryer on a low, cold setting to dry them. Then I lay them down on a paper towel in my biology books.
However, the books need to be relatively heavy to press the flowers effectively. I used two more books, but it only came to about 16 pounds...
HmMMMM.....
Now they should be heavy enough!

Just kidding, I put a shoebox on them.
Now, put them in a cool, dry place and wait 7-10 days. I'll update you in a week!
