Desk Ascenders emerged during my senior year of university. Inspired by local studios I had visited, I wanted to create a blog about the art toys creatives keep on their desks. I began working on the blog’s identity at the beginning of 2018 and after a year packed with a billion projects, I wanted to prioritize making this blog a living, breathing entity. I created the initial identity when I was half-brain dead from my last semester of college combined with full-time work so I figured it could use a facelift.  

Since this is a personal project that I have 100% control over, I wanted to incorporate some illustrative elements that delineate the content and add a personal touch.
