Etsy.com User Research Project
This research aims to test the implementation of new features for the Etsy.com.
A script and prototypes are created to conduct the sessions.
Due to a confidentiality agreement the whole research cannot be shown.
Please find below the steps for the testing and feedback on one possible new feature implementation.
1. Prototype Testing with Live User Feedback.
The video below shows the interaction between the person doing the interview and the user trying to perform a task. The user is asked to connect his facebook account to the Etsy platform and post his latest selling item.
2. Note Taking
Using excel for organisation purposes, notes are taken live. The aim is to write down valuable feedback.

"Quotes" are highlighted.
They are very important as they provide feelings and honest feedback.
The process above is repeated for all prototypes/tasks that need to be tested.
Notes are taken and in the end, a summary of it all is made.

3. Affinity Diagram and Research Summary.
With the use of the Affinity Diagram method the feedback gathered is used to generate, organize, and consolidate information. Then, a summary is created and delivered to the client.
