Flood

This is a meditation on Boris' 2000 album "Flood". It presents itself to me like a journey spanning across four tracks/acts. It begins like it's raining... and it slowly builds and folds into itself until a flood erupts, violently erasing the landscape. There's a monolithic, flowing, soaring feeling and a strange beauty about this album that I've tried to capture.
This drawing was made in participation with Dynaudio Music. Designers, illustrators, animators, and artists from around the world were asked to visualize their favourite piece of music based around the framework of their bluetooth speaker's silhouette. Thanks for looking!
