‘Athenaeum’ is a history magazine I came up with for an editorial module at university. The idea for the design of the front cover and article was to create imagery that expressed the theme of knowledge. Within my research I started to think of how we might see knowledge if it was visible. I’ve been rather obvious within my delivery of this, for example lots of brains but I felt they worked to create interesting design that was simple and didn't distract from the article it’s self.
