The Brief

I was tasked with the rebrand of a well known and respected community theatre in Dubai called DUCTAC. The brief was to uplift their original logo and website as well as all communication when referring to DUCTAC and its offerings. I was required to keep the original mask but instead injected a more modern look and feel by finessing the lines as well as updating the typeface in order to produce a more friendly and approachable logo. I then created a visual language with shapes from the logo that could live throughout the branding.

Visual Langauge

To bring to life this logo, we need to create a visual langauge that can be used throughout in order to tie the brand back. I used elements from the logo to create icons that are synonymos with the category of courses offered at Ductac. There are shapes pulled from the logo are used to create two extensions of visual branding: Category based branding and Generic Branding
