Création du branding d'une compagnie fictive, fabriquant des vêtements d'hiver. La création a débuté avec l'utilisation d'un générateur de noms de compagnies. À partir d'une dizaine de noms générés aléatoirement, j'ai choisi "Snowflake Gear".

Après une recherche de logos et plusieurs croquis, j'ai élaboré un logo simple qui représente autant le nom de la compagnie que son produit. Le logo arbore la moitié d'un flocon de neige, ayant une connexion directe avec le nom de l'entreprise. Pour contrer l'aspect fragile d'un flocon de neige, et pour représenter des vêtements durables, bien confectionnés et de confiance, le nom de l'entreprise utilise une police grasse. De plus, le mot "GEAR" est encadré par une boîte avec les contours gras, sur lequel repose "Snowflake", renforçant l'aspect solide des produits de la compagnie.

Creation of the brading for a fictionnal winter apparel company. The creation started with the use of a company name generator. From 10 randomly generated names, I chose "Snowflake Gear".

After some research and some drafts, I created a simple logo that represents both the company and the product it manufactures. The top portion of the logo represents half of a snowflake, taking direct influence on the name of the company. To counter the naturally fragile aspect of snowflakes, and to represent durable, well made and trustworthy winter apparel, the name of the company is big and bold, and the word “GEAR” is placed inside a bold-edged box, that also represent solid, trustworthy ground, on which the top of the logo sits on.
