The musician "holon" hired me to design his debut album "the time is always now". The album had time as a theme and he wanted a design that fit well with the theme. I based my design on our solar system, the voyager probe and a static timelapse.
I also added a lot of little puzzles around in the design. To be able to tell witch song youre listening to, you have to know the order and relative size of the planets in our solar system.
Cover and sleeve
Front and back side of the main cover. The CD version had one more side witch had a decaing version of this backside.
Inside of main cover. Here you can see the distance a photon has traveled during the time the two pictures were taken.
Inner sleve. The songs are numbered by the order of the planets in our solar system. And the length of a song is written in lightspeed.
