SKETCHES
A project in collaboration with BUKRUK Urban arts team and 9 other artists both local and international to create murals on one of the busiest skywalk of Bangkok. Each mural is painted onto a leaf-shaped umbrella with a concept which revolved around the theme of flora and fauna. The concept for my work is the Circle of Life, nature's way of balancing the ecosystem. The story is told through the images of a food-chain where the snake preys on the frog, who in turn is being watched by the birds circling above. The forms of the characters and the elements are illustrated to mimic a tribal style to contrast with the city setting of the exhibition. The process was very challenging, yet very fun and exciting.
