Presented by Noise Singapore and Kult International. Noise x GIF Fest 2017 - SPELLBOUND.GIF is billed as one of Singapore's largest GIF event-to-date. This artwork, along with 90 other artworks, was selected among 500+ submissions for the first ever Singapore GIF Festival #gifffestsg.

It started out as something experimental. I wanted to create something that is endlessly looping. This GIF submission turned out to be my first successful attempt of an endless loop on Cinema4D. Also, being an avid fan of 80’s movies like Back to The Future, I was hugely inspired by the 80’s retro visuals. 

I was hugely inspired by music videos that are created from motion graphics, and also was inspired by some well-known visual artists like @kidmograph. I started creating visuals for the fun of it. There is this satisfaction that I get from creating moving images that could make people trip.
