Frank Wedekind wrote The Spring Awakening in 1891. He upset the critics, the premiere did not take place. For fifteen years, censorship effectively looked after him. The performance staged in 1906 shocked - an uncompromising accusation of contemporary morality, exalting the subject of human sexuality, which may even lead to a tragedy. Today, the text is no longer shocking - but despite its more than one hundred years of age, it still remains up-to-date.
International Drama Schools’ Festival in Rabat is over. Three prizes: Best Actress, Best Direction and Best Art Direction went to the play “Spring Awakening ” directed by Kuba Kowalski.
