To help the thousands of schoolchildren who walk long hours in the Peruvian highlands, we created La Ponchila. The first backpack with poncho incorporated and made from 80 recycled plastic bottles.
Four companies joined forces and decided to carry out a recycling campaign in different cities of the country. The result was 480,000 plastic bottles collected, that were later used to create 6,000 Ponchilas.
