Week 24
For this week I continued off of last week with my 3-D designs, hoping I could do more with what I had already made.
I used my final image from last week and made a few changes to it
I found that other people who created images like this used blurs to give depth to the image, as if it were out of focus (farther or closer)
I made two slight variations of the images using the iris blur in Photoshop. This one has additional iris blur added to it.
I saw the image was near completion but it had no color, just blue and white. So I began to import blurs which could be added to the image.
I altered and overlayed some blurs to make different colors and give more of an option to what color looked best.
and I threw this one in from a long time ago just to see what would happen.
Well, the blur idea ended up really paying off. After seeing this image I thought I was close to being done.
I applied more, and very different images began to appear. Some very absurd but others came out amazing such as this.
This as came to be my favorite one yet because of its futuristic look. But of course i found more.
While looking though the blurs one last time I came across one that really caught my eye It gave it almost a smokey but wrinkled paper look. I knew it was cool but didn't think its was all that great at first.
I applied some blurs to it and it got better, I realized that this could be an actual sell able product. But I still doubted myself
After more and more blurs and alterations it just got better.
I had created something that looked cool and could be altered by the user.
Thought there was some banding, it was definitely something I could fix later. I just kept producing more and more astounding things.
Finally after deciding to stop and look at what I had created, I took my 3-D design and weird smokey texture to create this. My overall favorite image. I really pushed my limits this week and created something great. I look forward to next week to clean up and perfect what I've done here.
