This is a drawing I did a few months ago on a huge piece of lining paper I attached to my wall. I wanted to draw Chester on a bigger scale but it was a lot more challenging than I thought. It was a lot harder to get the perspective drawing so close to the wall. Some of it doesn't look as good as I would have liked but I am pretty happy with it.
For the months after his death drawing him was a way of coping with it, spending so long looking at photos and trying to recreate them made me feel like I hadn't lost him, that he was still there as a way of keeping his memory alive.
