Easy Peas-y Edamame

ASPaC 2017 Competition Brief
To create a packaging that has never existed before, and to be innovative and experimental with the hybrid use of material that will challenge the common form of packaging. To think constantly question "What if?", and to think of packaging with a surreal and conceptual form.

Concept
Easy Peas-y Edamame was conceived from the idea of trying to reduce the hassle of eating edamame beans while expanding the size of a small edamame into a bigger dimension.

While opening regular edamame only gets consumers two to three beans at a time, this conceptual packaging saves them the time and energy of having to peel each edamame. It utilizes a button clasp, making it easy for consumers to open and close the product. Once done eating, consumers can hang the Easy Peas-y up, or place it on their shelves.
Easy Peas-y Edamame won the JPDA Award from the ASPaC Awards
