This is a box created for a fictitious Online swimsuit company. I chose a bright palette of colours closely relating to the blues, greens and purples of the ocean and the pink of a sun-setting sky. I chose to mix pattens with solid
colours to create a sense of calm through the repetitiveness of the patterns. But by mixing them together there is also a sense of excitement and intrigue.
On the back of the box there are cut outs for the strings of the bikini top to tie around the illustrated back design on the outside of the box. There are also cut outs in the scales patterns on the front of the box so that you are able to see inside the bikini’s colour and pattern. I wanted the receiving of the box to give the customer an emotionally charged experience and therefore there are many elements inside that will help carry the brand further with the unique touches added
