Breakaway was a 4v4 arena combat game. These are highlight's of the game's HUD and front end menus from the Alpha release. The UI was rendered in Coherent, authored in LUA, HTML, Javascript, and CSS, with some After Effects Work. I was the lead UX designer on the project, with design and art support from Kong Ly, EJ Samuel, and Lee Hain.
The lobby dashboard. While players waited for matchmaking to find a new game, they could check the status of their daily challenges, last played character and profile information, and view news and video in the main window.
