Portfolio website for the Concept Artist Massimo Porcella. To realize the site I based myself on a simple and minimal style. I have played a lot with the animations trying to make the artist's works dynamic.
The color palettes of the site reflect the tonal values used by the artist in his own sketches. This is made with the aim of creating a strong stylistic link between the site and the client's own works. An example of application of the color palette is in the "about me" page. In the Header and in the Footer, the black color is applied recalling the paint color that the customer randomly uses in his sketches. The site alternates between a light background and a dark background, based on the background color, the typography changes color according to a precise scale illustrated below.
As the elements become smaller and less important hierarchically (for example switching from a title to a paragraph) the color becomes lighter in the white background and darker in the gray background.
