Preventing cyber attacks through WiFi security

ISSUE
Cyber-security is one of the biggest issues for people and companies worldwide right now. And, with an increasing dependency for our mobile devices and a lack of education, being protected from cyber-hacks is increasingly challenging. But how aware and affected are we mobile-device users, through the connectivity on our WiFi networks?

According to a survey taken in the UK of 2,540 people, under half of public wifi users reported accessing it once a week or more and 18% using it more than once a day
Not only are users increasingly accessing free public WiFi, but according to statistics, there is a general lack of attention, education and knowledge to the cyber risks of accessing personal information while on free public networks. Cyber risks on public networks include data sniffing, account hijacking, bank fraud, log-in credentials snatching, and tampering attempts.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
I began by generating ideas for the interface that would best visually communicate to users with no previous understanding of WiFi security and how to communicate what terms, such as 'VPN' and 'blockchain' mean. Because users would ideally use the app consistently while in public, I took into consideration how the wireframe could process the most information in a quick, fast process for the user to go through.
