These are a continuation of the album cover artwork I have been producing for Rex Orange County. The first three images were produced in the style of Joe Cruz, an artist who works into black and white photographs with oil pastels to create a bold, distinctive look. I attempted to imitate this to create an intense visual effect. The second set of three images were inspired by Andy Warhol's cover art for The Rolling Stones' album 'Love You Live' and were created by using colour blocks of torn out paper. I then worked into these with pastels and finalisers to create a bold look using multimedia which I thought would stand out.
