There were many years of painting until I gradually made the move to engage in the full time activity of pursuing sculpture. The activity of making sculpture has merged from my process of making paintings. As is notable, a great many of the paintings are rendered with dark painted lineage that act as dividers and definers of space and volume. This black lineage was the inspirational presence that led to the making of the first sculpture models which became the welded STACK/STEEL/SCULPTURES which were produced in a workshop in Bang Khen, an industrial suburb on the ouskirts of Bangkok. The paintings themselves are a brief selection from various series of paintings spanning the space of two decades and incude works from the STACK / BERKELEY / BLOSSOM / BLÅSÅSEN and GARE DU NORD series of paintings.
