American Schools of Oriental Research
ASOR, short for American Schools of Oriental Research is an international organization whose mission is to initiate, encourage, and support research in the public understanding of the history and cultures of the Near East and wider Mediterranean.

The identity represents the organization's extensive reach all over the world and their work in the archaeological research and fieldwork. It is based on a storage jar, an artifact commonly found at excavation sites. I was involved in the digital phase of the project. This was done during my time at C&G Partners, under Maya Kopytan.

The homepage is divided into 2 main sections: the main image and a preliminary overview of the articles within the sub-headers in the menu section. The gentle arches that can be found on the storage jar of the logo were translated to other areas of the brand and the website. On the homepage, the arches are represented as arrows as well as a subtle background.
