"the village" takes us back to our childhood memories.
Birthplace of our grandparents. We were just occasional visitors but somehow, we will always remember with nostalgia those moments we were lucky enough to live. The stone and wood built houses, the tiny yards covered with fragrant herbs, the fences made out of plinths, the muddy road that lead to undiscovered places and the lonely tree in the middle of the fields.
The artwork decorates the bar of "Porfyra Village" a small apartment complex, at the outskirts of the small village of Agia Fotia, part of a miniature but picturesque valley in South-East Crete.
