Nautilus is a different kind of science magazine. They deliver big-picture science by reporting on a single topic from multiple perspectives.

I was responsible for asset production of articles, such as creating original editorial illustrations, image sourcing / manipulation, and other graphic assets for both the print and web edition of the magazine. I also create motion graphics for the digital subscription, the website and the weekly newsletters. The visuals include a variety of storytelling tools such as type-based visuals, data visualization, collages, charts and graphsThe following images are a variety of illustrations and GIFs that I did over my time at Nautilus

The hero image for the article, 'Eclipses Make Great Yardsticks'.
