#gifmas was a social campaign and contest for Motorola to promote the Moto X Play phone and Moto 360 watch (2015). Users were encouraged to watch each gif released daily of Ginger and Giffy the Christmas elf. Prizes were given out daily after commenting/engaging with the content. Each video had a hidden letter that would ultimately spell out a phrase needed in order to win the grand prize (both products).
These gifs were shot and produced as stop-motion animations, meant to be fun and memorable using lovable characters in scenarios that told stories about the featured products.
