LOONA (or 이달의 소녀, stylized as LOOΠΔ) is an upcoming 12-member girl group formed by Blockberry Creative and are set to debut sometime in 2018. Each month, a new member of the group is revealed with their solo single and a music video. With the project beginning in October of 2016, as of January 2018, 11 members have been revealed, as well as two subunits.

Inspired by the group's concept, I decided to play around with the monthly releases and create a mockup of a monthly magazine that highlighted each new single or album. I tried to be creative with the blank months of the project where nothing was released by creating "special" issues that teased a new subunit or member. This project has kinda been long term, as I started making these since the reveal of the 7th member JinSoul in June 2017, and even now in February 2018 the project is still incomplete with 11 members revealed and only one more left to go + two album releases from a final subunit. I didn't want to sit on these for a few more months until the project was complete so I thought I'd split these posts by subunit. This first one highlights the first LOONA subunit LOONA 1/3 and the member solos that preceded and followed it. Enjoy!
