The last few months of 2017 I had no inspiration or inclination to do any painting or sculpture, the weather outside was typical November weather and it seemed to affect my mood. Mooching about the house one morning trying to avoid the cupboard containing chocolate I suddenly notice the bowl of fruit, the vibrate reds and oranges of the apples were shining even on a very dull November day.  This small still life is the result. The colours inspired me to be creative once more.
