Google Research and Design Hub
Today's workspace scenario is changing. It is no more conservative or old fashioned in terms of office design or the way the system works. A more collaborative and organisational culture is coming in and taking over. In a way the new designs are working on what is called 'Thirdspace by Edward Soja'.
My task was to design the given space for the Google R&D Hub in Yelahanka, Bangalore. Therefore I studied what defines Yelahanka and Bangalore so as to create a space that will give a sense of connection with the surroundings to the employees. For this I also studied the Google Office in Zurich and the Microsoft Office in Suzhou.
Through my design I have tried getting in the vibes of greenery around and the fresh air also keeping in mind the advanced technology. I have tried to keep the space as open as possible to allow free movement and the ability to convert the space according to the needs.
