Response to a university brief to redesign pages one, two and three of The Sunday Times. Working as part of a team of two, we chose a slightly smaller and squarer format, simplified the content so the pages were less cluttered, and aimed to create a 'slow Sunday' feeling through negative space and a soft colour palette. We also wanted the newspaper to appeal to a younger audience so we kept the design clean and contemporary, and added more unconventional elements such as text cutting through the tops of images.
