I have created this screen-based piece of design for a new digital touristic magazine for tablet users called ‘Locale’. My target audience consisted of tourists and visitors who may never have been to this location.
My chosen place is Hwaseong Fortress, a piled-stone and brick fortress of the Joseon Dynasty that surrounds the centre of Suwon City of Gyeonggi-do Province in South Korea.
All images and design elements used in this project were made by myself, including the video and text.
This work considers the issues of legibility, navigation and usability for reading on screen.
