In Graphic Design, we were tasked to rebrand a local business in New York and I chose a Moroccan food truck called "Chef Samir's Food Truck"
Through research, I identified the brand Chef Samir's Food Truck's main problem by restaurant reviews and interviews. These problems were that 1) unappetizing graphics 2) being unable to identify the kind of food the truck sells. Through this, I found that the problem has to do with the visuals of the brand rather than the system or the food.
In my design, I wanted to incorporate Moroccan patterns such as arabesques, Islamic flower patterns, and spice-oriented color palette (Saffron, Cumin). I also wanted to include Arabic script in the typography to reference again the culture.
