I chose fruits because that was my overall theme. I chose fruit because there are so many types of fruit. The reason I chose this arrangement was because I thought it flowed together. On the top and bottom row my images have a black background and my images in the middle fill the complete screen. I thought that this looked good together.

The most interesting thing about this project was seeing how many types of fruit there were I could take photos of. The hard part to this project was having enough good photos that I could edit. Also being able to have interesting images was kind of hard to find.

What is a Texture?

-Texture is anything that isn't completely flat

-A strawberry has texture because of the seeds

-A brick wall has texture because of the bricks and how they are stuck together

-Dirt can have texture when the sun hits hit just right

-A road can have texture too

Why have you been assigned this project?

-I have been assigned this project so we can see things differently

-Also so I can see texture in everything that isn't flat

How does light impact Texture?

-Light can reflect onto textures

Light can make you see the waves in sand or sparkles in snow when light hits it just right

What does Texture look like?

-Texture looks like anything that isn't completely flat and has personality within it

Why you have chosen it?

-There are many different types of fruit that have different textures 

-There are also many different colored fruits

What are possible color schemes?

-I'm not having a color scheme with my photos

-There aren't enough fruits in season to have a color scheme

-I am going to have a theme of fruit

What different way could you photograph those ideas to make them special?

-Having different fruits and being close to them and further away from them

-Cutting fruits in half and seeing the middle of them

I arranged my final project like this. While looking at this image I really liked the concept of having the upper row and the lower row with black backgrounds while the middle row is completely filled with the fruit and has no black background.

STAGE 6: Test and Evaluate

Self-reflect and carefully evaluate your successes and difficulties

I think over all I did really well on this project even though it was challenging at times

I feel like a success that I had was having all of my pictures done and being able to have a variety of pictures to choose from.

I had some very good pictures and it was very hard to choose which pictures to use

The biggest challenge was some fruits had a lot of great pictures, while others did not.  

How could you take it further?

Depending on the time of year I could have had totally different types of fruits

I could have tried to have all my images have a black background

I could have also tried to have all of my images fill the screen and not have any black showing
