A Design Thinking Working - Guiding Empathy through Collaboration

ln 2016, we (our small team - 1 Sr. UX / Facilitator (me), 1 Designer, 1 PM, 1 Creative Director and 1 UX developer gathered with a group of 20 university stakeholders from across the university to kick off an initiative to redesign the university website. We gathered university participants around a conference table and got to work.

As the facilitator/workshop lead I prompted participants in instructional materials, and guided groups through the Design Thinking activities that produced collaborative documentation and lively conversations.

We produced multiple Proto-Personas for our teams to communicate and display for your university to infuse and validate empathy for their students and focus our team at solving human centered problems. Below is the presentation of what we learned from this workshop from a user perspective.
