Hey folks! I’m glad to show you my new personal stuff. A few weeks ago, I watched some stuff about BLAME! which is one of my favorite manga. For those of you who don’t know, it’s about transhumanism as part of a dystopia/post-apocalyptic. If you like cyberpunk and dark stuff, I recommend you. I come up with their universe are very crazy that it gives me a lot of inspiration and incentive to create a landscape like that.

It’s been a while I didn’t make a matte painting. This is the second time I've done it in my life. There exists several ways to make one. Unfortunately, I'm not a skilled illustrator but, however, I'm a resourceful.

First of all, I’ve sketched to have an overview and the main framework in my mind.  On this page bottom, you may see the different raw materials and the composition which is very basic. I think I could do something very harsh but the simplicity was a good solution for beginning. I firstly had to understand the scheme and developping my own process. Usually, I work with micro view stuffs. Here, the point of view was very different and it was a good exercise for my perspective skill.

Let's call it a day... Thanks for watching and enjoy it!
