Redheads set for extinction
REDHEADS SET FOR EXTINCTION
70x100cm

In this design, I experimented with using the face to symbolize a person's identity, status, gender, or ethnicity. The face is then blurred to visually create an image to stare silently into the biological characteristic of the "red hair", mocking our conformity to societal structure created by our experiences allowing us to see only the specific differences we chose to see. The red hair strands are like thorny vines wrapping around everyone as if they were born in sin, thus causing suffering from social inequality and discriminating repression.
