In the early part of the 20th century, Philip McClenaghan farmed the bountiful soil in the fields around Greencastle, Inishowen and grew one of the finest examples of the staple we hold dear as a people - the potato.
Philip was no ordinary man and he didn't do just ordinary things with potatoes. He could turn his hand to anything and one of his favourite pastimes was to use the potatoes to create his own unique style of poitÌn. It's this fabled liquor which serves as the inspiration for the potato-based spirits produced by The Muff Liquor Company today.
