This was my first animated project. I was asked to create illustrations so visitors of the website learned the use of it. I suggested an animation so visitors wouldn't have to scroll through the illustrations. Instead they could just start the animation with a click.
We started with the script. What was the story to be told. What was the information neccesary.
Once the script was finished the illustrating started. I wanted to give it the feel of a quick drawing on a blackboard. Fast lines, open space, transparancy, quick colouring.
Following the script the story developed... What is being said and how can you translate this to a visual image.
When the animating was done, the voice-over had to be recorded, background noice filtered, cut into seperate pieces so it could be assembled into the animation. The launch was a hit.
