So along with “The Uncanny” art book and three large prints, for the opening night of the show, my sibling and I dressed up as beings similar to the surreal women creatures that would inhabit my work. In line with completing the whole experience of the work; the incubation as strokes on a page in my sketchbook, to the life size prints bringing it to a human level, and finally for them to step off the page or wall through our costumes,forcing the audience to confront the female beings in their reality.
